Rovers have announced the signing of defender Sam Hart from Premier League side Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.
Blackburn have announced the signing of promising left back Sam Hart from Liverpool for a undisclosed fee.
Around 9pm, Rovers announced the signing of Harper from West Brom on loan. Mowbray have now made it two signings on deadline day, with the addition of promising defender Sam Hart.
After missing out on Ben Heneghan to Sheffield United before, Mowbray has made sure he got a defensive player, in the form of Hart.
The promising left-back began in Manchester United’s youth academy, before making the switch to Merseyside during the 2012-13 season.
Hart spent part of last season on loan at relegated Port Vale, making 16 appearances, and finding the net once.
The 20 year old will be hoping to force his way into the first team, and will hope to be challenging Jack Doyle and Derrick Williams for the left-back position.
Hart is an unknown entity to many fans, including myself, and Rovers fans will be keen to see what the young left-back can do – and Hart will want to show us that!
This deal is likely to be the last one of the incomings in the summer transfer window, but fans may still see Liam Feeney exit the club.
